Under-sink water filter with a dedicated drinking water faucet
What you get

Clean water where you drink it.

  • Two options — an under-sink carbon filter for taste and chlorine, or 7-stage reverse osmosis for PFAS, lead and nitrates
  • Its own faucet — for drinking, cooking, coffee and ice
  • Installed in about an hour — no changes to the rest of your plumbing
  • NSF-certified filters — first year of filters included
  • Good fit for condos, townhomes and smaller homes — or anyone not ready for a whole-home system
Which one do you need?

Carbon filter or reverse osmosis.

Both go under the kitchen sink. They solve different problems, and your free water test tells us which one fits.

  • Under-sink carbon filter. Takes out chlorine taste and smell. A good fit if your water is safe and you just want it to taste better.
  • 7-stage reverse osmosis. Removes PFAS, lead, nitrates, arsenic and most dissolved solids, plus chlorine. The stronger choice if PFAS or older plumbing is the worry.
  • On a private well? RO at the sink is the usual drinking-water finish, especially for nitrates. Iron and sulfur still need whole-house treatment.
  • Want every tap and shower covered? That's whole-home filtration.
Local water

Why people in Clark County add one

  • Chlorine taste: City of Vancouver water is disinfected with 0.4–1.3 ppm chlorine. Safe, but many people don't like the taste.
  • PFAS: Vancouver Water Stations 14, 4 and 9 have tested at or above state and federal limits. City treatment starts at Station 14 in 2026 and will take a few years. RO at the sink is what you can do now.
  • Washougal reported PFAS above the EPA's 4 ppt level at least once at each of its six wells, below the state action level.
  • Rural wells in Battle Ground, Ridgefield and Woodland can test high for nitrates, which matter most for infants. RO reduces them.

Reverse osmosis
“Genuine Water Co installed an under sink reverse osmosis system for our family and we love it. The water tastes clean and fresh, and we don’t have to keep buying bottled water anymore. The team was easy to work with, arrived when they said they would, and explained how to maintain the system before leaving.”

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between an under-sink filter and reverse osmosis?
A carbon filter mostly fixes taste and chlorine. Reverse osmosis pushes water through a membrane that also removes PFAS, lead, nitrates and most dissolved solids. RO costs more and does more. If your water is safe and you just want it to taste better, carbon may be all you need.
Does an under-sink filter remove PFAS?
Reverse osmosis is the proven home option for PFAS at the tap. A basic carbon filter reduces some, but if PFAS is your reason for filtering, go with RO. Our PFAS guide explains why.
Can I put one in a condo or townhome?
Usually, yes. It fits under the kitchen sink and adds one small faucet. If you rent, check with your landlord first.
How often do the filters need changing?
Most under-sink filters and RO prefilters need changing about once a year. Your first year is included, and we can handle the changes or show you how.
How much does an under-sink water filter cost?
Less than a whole-home system, and the price depends on whether you go with carbon or RO. Call or text (360) 910-0073 and you'll have a price in writing within minutes.
